June’s top 10

I learnt that this is a Leonberger!

…and this was an intriguing sculpture by a lake in a Midlands wildlife sanctuary (so not quite where you’d expect to see an elephant).

The plant is cow parsley, and the insect’s a soldier beetle…

…these are sprouting by the (partially collapsed) garden fence…

…and there’s all sorts of shapes and sizes of insects that I can chase around with the camera (this one’s a hoverfly).

A bit of history that emerged from a kitchen drawer.

Definitely a snail on a mission!

These are all sprouting out of the (15th century) churchyard wall

Soot continues to set his example of relaxation…

…and I haven’t seen these on the shelves before!
