Novembers Top 10 Photos

The iconic face of Big Ben – just after sunset on 8th November (and it made me look up why Big Ben has its name: it’s thought to be named after the large man Sir Benjamin Hall, Chief Commissioner of Works at the time the bell was installed – which was 1859).

…and this is the tower from the other side – with one of London’s nearly 9000 famous red buses.

Nicely dressed rubber ducks – doing some campaigning for women’s rights – inside Westminster Abbey

Poppies and commemorative crosses marking the Field of Remembrance event outside the Abbey

A sock llama I’ve created (immediately named of course – he’s Lionel)

Can you spot the spider in this one?

A fluffy little Blue Tit was considering a birdbath in the garden…

An evening wintery seascape…

A little bit of Edelweiss stumbled upon out on a walk…

…and a very English herd of Hereford cows (and Google thinks there’s a yak in the herd)
